VCUG....again

We are heading out this morning for another VCUG. I think the last one Sarah had was in March of 2008....or so. Anyway its been more than a year and I am hoping and praying the last bit of reflux has resolved and this will be our last time with this procedure.

I covet your prayers for today. I do explain everything to Sarah but I don't know how much she understands and whether or not the explaining helps or makes her more upset. The procedure is just unpleasant whether you understand what's happening or not. I believe the most upsetting thing to Sarah is the restraint....I think that's the most upsetting thing to me as well. I am eager to have this over and done.

To top it all off there are food/water restrictions. So its been a tough hour since her cut off time telling her over and over she can't have water to drink! She did wake up extra early today so that actually worked to an advantage as we were able to get in a breakfast before 6:15am.
