Homesick
But case in point....I sent Sarah to school on the bus this morning only to find out she did not have school today. How could that happen, you ask. Well its a long explanation so suffice it to say it did and when I showed up to retrieve her she was happily playing with another classmate whose mother had done the same thing....so I was not entirely off base.
On the way home...by way of Costco and Target...Timothy and I had a wonderful talk. And it was that talk that made me homesick...homesick for Heaven. Don't get me wrong I am not anxious to leave this world prematurely BUT our talk made my heart long for Heaven, long to sit at the Lord's feet and just worship HIM. It was a very awesome homesick feeling. Perhaps you are curious about the details of the conversation and how they led me to those feelings...well the details are mine and I will keep them for myself...I can't share everything dear ones. But I am happy to report I think he is anxious for heaven too and that makes my heart equally glad.
In the end the unplanned "distraction" of running off to school to retrieve my sweetie turned out to be wonderful...and so life goes.
