Can You Identify?

We have trees like this by the pond in our neighborhood. We call it a green bean tree because of the pods that grow on it. Obviously they are not green beans. But we're curious to know if anyone knows what kind of tree this is?

It looks like a tree we had in our yard at KBC. It was called a Catalpa. It had huge leaves and white flowers in the spring changing to those seed pods. I can't get a real good look at it from the photo. Look up Catalpa online and see if they match.

Remember the big tree by the pool/veranda at KBC with the humongous leaves? That's what your pictures reminded me of, so I googled catalpa. Looks like that's what it is - http://www.plantcare.com/encyclopedia/catalpa-2150.aspx
My guess is those are going to get quite a lot bigger over the years.
